Cathy Nakanote was born and raised in New York City.   After graduating from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, she headed west and spent ten years in the Los Angeles area.  She has called University City home since 1990.   According to Cathy, “This is a great place to live because the air is clean and the weather is mild all year-round.  Also, you can drive to the ocean really easily, and it’s usually not a struggle to find parking.  This is a wonderful change from living in Los Angeles and New York.  Also, you can buy a house or condo in University City or the surrounding areas for a reasonable price.”

Cathy has been a full-time Realtor since 1998.  She spent ten years at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage where she was an award winner most years.   Recently, she joined the growing  team of Realtors at First Choice Properties, Inc., one of the most prominent real estate agencies in town.  Her office is conveniently located on Governor Drive in the heart of University City. 

Cathy has completed about 120 transactions representing buyers and sellers in the San Diego area.  You will most certainly enjoy spending time with Cathy when you are buying or selling a home.
